Watson Park has been a family favorite in Wichita for generations, providing a wide array of activities like sand volleyball, boating, fishing, pony rides, miniature golf and everyone's favorite- rides on the Watson Park C.P Huntington train.

Years of use, coupled with tight budgets, have created a situation in which there is a great need for refurbishment of Watson. Currently, the City of Wichita is undertaking a master plan to determine Watson Park’s future and craft a plan that will create an opportunity to increase revenues at the park so that it moves towards a self-supporting status.
