Art Benches

The Foundation and Park Department collaborated with Wichita artist Heather Byers to create 12 custom built benches to honor the accomplishments of Wichitans’ contributions to the city and society. The 12 benches are being installed in spring 2023 in 12 parks across the city. The Plates for Parks contribution was $8,400 plus another $8,400 from the Park Department, for a total cost of $16,800.
